As the show's court reporter, Jacque Kessler utilizes her years of experience as a journalist to summarize each case for the audience on JUDGE JOE BROWN, the daily, half-hour, reality courtroom series, which enters its tenth season in September 2007.
Born in New Jersey, Kessler moved with her family several times during her youth before finally settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating high school, she enrolled at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism.
After completing an internship with the station, Kessler began working as a reporter for the NBC affiliate in El Paso, Texas. She later returned to Albuquerque to become anchor of the weekend news broadcast while working as a reporter during the week.
Kessler successfully juggled working in New Mexico and taping segments in Hollywood during the show's first season. But she relocated to Los Angeles for year two of the series to concentrate on JUDGE JOE BROWN, her freelance reporting work, producing the show "Vet School Confidential" for "Animal Planet" as well as The Discovery Channel's new series "Surprise by Design," and a two-hour television special, "The Emergency Vets."
In her spare time, Ms. Kessler enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
JUDGE JOE BROWN is a Big Ticket Television production and is distributed by CBS Television Distribution. Big Ticket is a Paramount/Viacom company. John Terenzio is executive producer. Lou Dennig is senior supervising producer.
